The Christchurch Foundation is a registered charity (registration number CC54845) and can be found on the New Zealand Charities Register.

Gifts are selected at the discretion of The Christchurch Foundation's appropriate distribution committee for philanthropic purposes.

Individuals that have made a donation may be entitled to a tax credit.  An email with a link to download your tax receipt will be provided by The Christchurch Foundation.
