Women Entrepreneurs Fund Recipient 2023
Also on the 19th of September, we were thrilled to support the unveiling and blessing of the new mural pictured below. This is a collaboration between Ōtautahi artist Kophie Su'a-Hulsbosch and Tâmaki Makaurau artist Janine Williams. This remarkable artwork was made possible through The Hine te Hiringa - Empower Women Utilising FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 fund. The mural serves as a tribute to the lives, achievements, legacies, and profound impact of a group of influential wahine, including Airini Nga Roimata Grennell, Elsie Locke, Erihapeti Rehu-Murchie, Ngãi Tahu Wharetutu Te Aroha Stirling, and Neroli Fairhall. Kophie and Janine have generously partnered with us to develop some T-shirts and tote bags that reflect their work and champion female leadership, while raising money for our Kate Sheppard Fund.
