Andrea started Baby Basics, fulfilling a passion to offer at home breastfeeding and infant feeding support to families in Christchurch. Andrea is a paediatric nurse, a breastfeeding support counsellor and a mother of three. She offers parents one-on-one coaching and workshops to make parenting easier and more joyful for parents and their babies.

With this grant, she can now make her support available to mothers who are struggling with feeding but couldn’t afford her services. She believes that with the right support, a lot more mothers would be able to successfully breastfeed if that’s what they want to do.
