We have the pleasure of sharing Julia’s latest conversation with the Honourable Poto Williams, MP for Christchurch East and Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector.  

We set up our Women’s Fund in part to highlight the insights from inspiring female leaders. So now that we’re emerging from Covid19, it’s more crucial than ever to hear from leaders like Minister Poto.

Poto understands the critical role that philanthropy in our community plays in aiding recovery after a disaster. Her perspective on New Zealand’s leadership and decision-making over this crisis is worth a watch.

It’s more than OK, it honours who we are as New Zealanders…We are all included in the kindness as a team of 5 million. We have all contributed to our success by sticking to the rules. That’s what makes community, that you belong and that you’re part of it.”
