Congratulations to Grace! She is one of our recipients for the Women Entrepreneur Fund 2023

Dr. Grace, is a data scientist and entrepreneur CEO of LEAPS. Her journey into entrepreneurship began with a groundbreaking research project funded by Science for Technological Innovation (SfTI) National Science Challenge, Te Titoki Mataora (TTM) and KiwiNet. With an exceptional engineering team led by her CTO Dr. Jake Campbell and supported by distinguished Professor Geoff Chase and Dr Lui Holder-Pearson, LEAPS, overcame a challenge posed to them: creating a pump at a fraction of the cost of existing ones. Their innovation, has been developing a pump costing less than half of market alternatives to make quality diabetes care more accessible.

Dr. Grace, future CEO and co-founder of LEAPS, excels in community engagement, marketing strategies, and securing investments. Her "why" is personal - to provide education and affordable technology to those impacted by diabetes including all of those within her whanau. Her dedication to this cause and her outstanding leadership make her a deserving award recipient, inspiring change in healthcare within Aotearoa and beyond.
